As always, summer flew by way to quickly. I have been busy getting back into the school mindset, which is difficult after an amazing summer of adventures such as a family trip to Iceland and an overnight kayaking trip through the Grasslands of Saskatchewan.
So, my post today is going to be random. I have done some pretty cool things these last few days, and I don’t want to forget to mention them!
So, that’s been my last 2 weeks. I hope everyone had a super summer and was able to do some exploring. I am not sure what adventure is coming up next for me, but I will let you know!
Don’t think much of finding a rattle snake in the yard. At least the conservation crew took care of it. I once had a python in my yard (when I lived in Auz). They wouldn’t come out and collect it. Told me not to worry because after it ate all the mice in the area, it’d go to someone else’s back yard.

Yikes! I’ll take a rattler over a python! My husband moved it. He likes to think he’s the Crocodile Hunter!

Ha! I’d actually prefer a python because it’s not poisonous; better still neither.
