The trip to return the stepkids to their mother is never an easy way to end summer. Life comes with a lot of stresses, but I've put my energy into finding the fun and beauty in life. I had a busy summer of adventuring and exploring. I've seen new parts of our province, met many great people, covered several small town events, and volunteered my time with a kayak safety crew. I expanded my brain by learning about fossils and space while attending unique events and I made memories for myself and my family. September will be busy as I do a month long position in Maple Creek at the highway visitor center. Please check out my blog to read about all of the fun I had this summer. My van is acting up and it'd be so easy to get frustrated, but there's a plus to having to walk everywhere. I just saw 2 young deer on my way to a solar observation being put on by the Summer Star Party at Cypress Hills. Even after the sixth bison, it was still exciting to come over a hill and see these majestic creatures near the road.
