I won a cruise!! Yes, some might say it was not a real cruise, but it was still fun, and I still won it!
A simple retweet of Prairie Lake Vacation’s post on Twitter got me two passes for this Saskatchewan adventure.

Lake Diefenbaker is over three hours from home and it was a sunset cruise, but I could not say no. Calculating how long past my bed time I would be up on a school night, I decided I could handle it and called my sister to join me.

Drinks and food were served to add to the experience and the sun came out after a cloudy day just in time to set for the ” sunset tour.” Information about the area was played in between the music and the scenery did not disappoint. Birds hovered on islands and the trees were turning colors in the surrounding hills.

I loved the atmosphere that Prairie Lake Vacations offered. My sister and I had a great visit and enjoyed the drive to Riverhurst. ( The Hotel in Riverhurst has yummy bar food for a great price!)
I look forward to following the new management to see their ideas come to life and am sure I will be making a return visit.
Who wants to rent a houseboat with me??
