I Am Going to be Published!

My goals: write, explore, try new things.

Joining Leader Tourism has pushed me to do all of the above.  Like the time I got to go on a Fam Tour of Cypress Hills.  I also made a connection at a tourism convention that gave me the opportunity to take a train ride at Southern Prairie Railway, in Ogema, Sk.

Recently, I wrote a short article that will be published in a tourism booklet to promote our area.  I thought I’d share it with you.

Leader is situated along the picturesque South Saskatchewan River.  With several options for accommodation, dining, and retail, it is the perfect base for explorers.

Visitors can hike 1900 squared km of natural dunes at the Great Sandhills, search for over  170 species of birds, and go back in time at the museums, antique shops, and historic churches and schools.

Whether you are excited by hunting and fishing, or art galleries and orchards, Leader area has something for everyone.

Don’t forget to pose by our  many “Larger than Life”  sculptures.
